Nature of business

SSE designs, manufactures, installs and maintains telemetry and industrial automation systems. These systems are used in the bulk water, waste water, electrical, oil & gas and transportation infrastructure market sectors.

Rationale for transaction

Spirit believes that there is significant growth potential in the water sector and that SSE is well positioned to capitalize on this growth. As part of its investment, Spirit facilitated the investment of a BEE partner into SSE.
